Comments through Comments Box, now available in the platform
Starting today, August 8, 2012, we added the comments from over 50 sources of online media to our previous over 140.000 sources monitored by Zelist Monitor, comments published via Facebook.
Comments are popularity indicators in online media and blogs and they allow a better understanding of readers' atitudes and sentiments about the monitored companies or brands. But the anonymous comments don't allow the accurate estabilshment of the problem. We can't say if the problem is a general one or if a client exposes it under different identities.
How many comments were monitored?
Over 185.000 comments were published between January 1 - July 31, 2012, on 50 monitored sources and they are available in the "Press comments" section, which already contains over 320.000 comments sent through the clasic comments formular.
How can I figure out which is a classic comment and which is a coment sent through the Comments Box?
The comments sent through the Comments Box display the profile photo of the user who commented and a link to his profile. Also, it dispalys the mention "Posted on [Source] by [Name Surname]".
Comments made via the comment feature will display, instead of the user's profile picture, a general logo and will not have the name of the one who added the comment.
You can choose to see only the press comments using the menu from "Source of mention". Also, the relevance of the comments can be modified for certain expressions, you can add the sentiment (Very favorable, Favorable, Neither favorable, nor favorable, Nefavorable, Very unfavorable), tags/subject of the mention and notes.
